Man remanded in custody after knife robbery in Meersburg
A 43-year-old man is suspected of threatening an employee with a knife and demanding cash at the checkout area of a supermarket on Dr.-Zimmermann-Straße in Meersburg on Tuesday evening. According to police, he then fled on foot but was arrested nearby during an immediate search. Officers recovered the stolen cash and the knife. At the prosecutor's request, a judge ordered pre-trial detention on suspicion of aggravated robbery extortion.
