Man injured with pointed object in Mechernich
Three unidentified individuals allegedly attacked a 21-year-old man near Walnußweg in Mechernich at about 2 a.m. on 16 May. Police said the man was pushed to the ground, punched and kicked. During the attack, one of the alleged assailants is said to have inflicted a cut to his abdomen with a pointed object. The injured man was taken to hospital by ambulance. An initial search for the three unknown suspects was unsuccessful.
