Four minors located after armed supermarket robbery in Mechernich
Four minors are alleged to have robbed a supermarket on Georges-Girard-Ring in Mechernich at about 20:15 on 3 November. While two of them pretended to make a purchase at the checkout, two masked people entered the sales area. They threatened the cashier with a knife and demanded the cash. One minor reached into the open till and took money before all four fled. Police later located all four minors, and the suspected proceeds were found and seized during a search. Criminal police are investigating on suspicion of aggravated robbery.
