Man injured in knife stabbing during dispute in Marschacht car park
A 23-year-old man was injured in a knife stabbing during a dispute involving several people in the car park of a Rewe supermarket on Elbuferstraße in Marschacht. The incident occurred at about 9:10 p.m. on Monday, 8 June. The injured man was taken to hospital by ambulance but was able to leave later that night.
An 18-year-old man is alleged to have carried out the stabbing. He and two companions, aged 18 and 20, initially left by car but were located in Hamburg and provisionally detained shortly afterwards. They were released from police custody on Tuesday after identification procedures. Police are investigating on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm; the suspect and the injured man knew each other.
