Missing woman found dead with knife wounds in Marburg
Homicide investigators are examining the death of a 35-year-old woman in Marburg. A police spokesperson said she had been killed by 19 knife wounds; an autopsy was planned. She had been reported missing and was last seen alive on Tuesday evening as she left a shopping centre. Officers searching nearby found her body on Wednesday afternoon, reportedly in bushes beside a road. Police searched the area and collected evidence until the evening. Police and prosecutors said they were withholding further details for investigative reasons.
