Man waves knife during police check in Hamburg
A 19-year-old man resisted officers during a weapons check at Hamburg Central Station on Wednesday and, according to police, waved a knife. Officers took him to the police station. During the seven-hour operation, more than 50 officers checked around 870 people and seized 16 dangerous items, including seven knives. The checks were intended to enforce the weapons ban around the station.
