Man critically injured in Mannheim
A 36-year-old man sustained life-threatening cut and stab injuries during an altercation in Mannheim. Initial investigation findings indicate that a 32-year-old suspect is alleged to have inflicted the injuries at about 8:50 a.m. on Thursday morning. Officers provided immediate first aid, stopped bleeding and, according to police, saved the injured man's life. The suspect was provisionally detained and remained in police custody. Criminal investigators are handling the case.
