Man seriously injured in Mannheim knife attack
On 5 July 2025, a 21-year-old man was seriously injured with a knife during an attempted killing at Swanseaplatz in Mannheim. The incident was cited in connection with a series of serious robberies, extortions and violent offences in public spaces. An investigative group is examining those offences, and arrest warrants have been executed against several members of a suspected group.
