Woman attacked with knife in Mallersdorf-Pfaffenberg
A 75-year-old man allegedly attacked his 74-year-old wife with a knife at their shared home in Mallersdorf-Pfaffenberg at about 5:30 a.m. on 16 September while she was in bed. Police said the woman was probably slightly injured. The man then seriously injured himself with the knife. Both were taken to hospital after receiving initial treatment. Criminal police and prosecutors are investigating the man on suspicion of a homicide offence; police said he remained in inpatient treatment.
