Men display knife during dispute in Mainz
An altercation involving four people took place outside a kebab shop on Goethestraße in Mainz on 22 February. Two former operators demanded items that they said remained stored at the premises from the new tenants. According to the current findings, the two suspects struck the victims in the face; one used pepper spray while the other displayed a knife without using it. The operator suffered eye irritation, and a family member suffered a bruised cheek as well as eye irritation. Police are investigating the two men on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm.
