Unknown suspect threatens child with knife in attempted Magdeburg extortion
An unknown man allegedly stopped a child riding a bicycle in Müllergasse in Magdeburg's Ottersleben district on 24 March and demanded money. When the boy said he had no money with him, the man pulled out a knife and moved it toward him, police said. The boy pushed the unknown man away and rode off. He was unharmed. Police are seeking witnesses to the attempted extortion offence.
