Serious stab injuries after dispute in Lutherstadt Wittenberg
A 43-year-old suspect is alleged to have inflicted serious stab injuries to a 47-year-old man's upper body and leg on Waldstraße in Lutherstadt Wittenberg. According to the investigation so far, the two men encountered each other during the night of 7 December and became involved in a physical altercation. The 47-year-old is also alleged to have used a blunt object. The suspect was provisionally detained but was initially released following a decision by the public prosecutor's office. Investigators are continuing to examine the background.
