Woman threatened with knife in Aschaffenburg
On Sunday morning, a 26-year-old woman encountered a man in a pedestrian underpass near the City Galerie in Aschaffenburg who adopted a threatening stance toward her. The man was holding a knife. The woman called police and left the underpass. Officers provisionally detained the 21-year-old suspect and seized a knife and a toy gun. He was admitted to a psychiatric facility because he was considered a danger to others; investigators are also pursuing allegations of threats and a weapons-law violation.
