Armed robbery at lottery shop in Lünen
Two offenders robbed a lottery shop on Derner Straße in Lünen on Wednesday morning. After the shop owner opened at about 5:10 a.m., a masked person entered and demanded the cash register contents while displaying a knife. He took a bag containing a four-figure sum of money.
A second suspect waited outside the shop. Both offenders then fled in an unknown direction, and an immediate police search was unsuccessful. The shop owner was unharmed but later went to hospital. Police are seeking witnesses.
