Two residents injured after altercation at Lübeck accommodation

An altercation broke out on Friday evening between the three occupants of a room in a men's accommodation facility in Lübeck's St. Gertrud district. A 54-year-old man is alleged to have first threatened and then struck a 77-year-old fellow resident. The older man is alleged to have defended himself with scissors.

The 54-year-old sustained injuries to his shoulder and head and was taken to hospital; police said his injuries were not life-threatening. The 77-year-old reported pain after the blows and was also taken to hospital as a precaution.
