24-year-old held after alleged knife injury in Ludwigsburg
Two men allegedly forced their way into an apartment building in Ludwigsburg's Neckarweihingen district during the night of 26 September. In the flat of a 34-year-old man, one or both allegedly injured him with a knife; he suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital. Police said a roommate was also lightly injured by blows. A 24-year-old suspect was arrested and placed in pre-trial detention after a warrant was issued on urgent suspicion of attempted manslaughter. Police are searching for the second suspect. Investigators consider personal disputes a possible background and are also examining an altercation the previous day.
