Five suspects after threats involving knives and a machete in Lübeck
Five people are alleged to have threatened one another with knives, baseball bats and a machete during a dispute on Klipperstraße in Lübeck on the evening of 19 September. Police said no one was injured. One participant left in a BMW before officers arrived.
A group of about 50 onlookers gathered at the scene. Police deployed six patrol-car crews and police dogs to calm the tense situation. Investigations into alleged violations of narcotics and weapons laws are continuing against five suspects aged between 27 and 33.
