Man injured during altercation at Berliner Platz
An altercation involving several people took place at Berliner Platz in Ludwigshafen early on Saturday. A 28-year-old man sustained several cuts to his face. Based on the investigation so far, the injuries may have been caused by a broken bottle neck. The group of two to three suspected perpetrators fled. The injured man was taken to hospital for treatment, and his injuries were not life-threatening. Police took five people into custody because of the tense situation at the scene.
