Woman dies after knife attack in Ludwigshafen
A 39-year-old man is suspected of attacking his 37-year-old wife with a knife in an apartment in Ludwigshafen late on Sunday evening. The woman died at the scene. According to the authorities, the suspect called police himself and was provisionally detained at the scene without resistance. He was due to appear before an investigating judge, while prosecutors and criminal police continued to investigate the circumstances, background and motive.
