Man remanded after alleged knife attack on father-in-law in Bamberg
During the night of 2 November, a 26-year-old man is alleged to have stabbed his 55-year-old father-in-law several times during a family dispute in Bamberg's Wunderburg district. The man suffered a superficial cut while partly fending off the blows and was treated in hospital. Police arrested the suspect at the scene. After appearing before an investigating judge, he was remanded in custody as criminal police investigate an attempted homicide allegation.
