Man seriously injured in knife attack in Lindau
A 35-year-old man was seriously injured at an asylum accommodation facility in Lindau on 12 March. According to the current investigation, a 33-year-old suspect is alleged to have entered the sleeping man's room and stabbed him with a knife. The injured man initially fled outside, where the suspect allegedly stabbed him again, police said. He was flown to a hospital by rescue helicopter and underwent emergency surgery. The suspect was arrested at the scene and remanded in custody under a warrant for attempted murder and dangerous bodily harm.
