Woman injured in knife attack in Bremen
A 39-year-old man allegedly waited for and attacked his 34-year-old former partner on Gröpelinger Heerstraße in Bremen's Gröpelingen district on 12 March. During an altercation, police said he made stabbing motions in her direction with a knife. Bystanders intervened and apparently prevented further attacks. The woman escaped with her three children in a passing vehicle and was taken to hospital for treatment; her injuries were not life-threatening. The children were uninjured. The man was arrested and the investigation is ongoing.
