Man hospitalised after stabbing injuries in Leverkusen
A 33-year-old man was admitted to hospital with multiple stab wounds to his upper body after a suspected altercation at a restaurant on Stixchesstraße in Leverkusen-Manfort. According to initial findings, two unidentified men attacked him at about 11:50 p.m. on 31 December and then fled. Emergency personnel treated the injured man and applied a tourniquet; he is receiving intensive care, but his life is not currently in danger. A homicide unit is investigating the background to the incident.
