Man seriously injured in hand during knife attack in Langquaid

A 52-year-old was seriously injured in his left hand in a rear courtyard at the market square in Langquaid on 8 May. According to the initial investigation, a 59-year-old allegedly approached him, stabbed in his direction with a knife and threatened to kill him. The 52-year-old was injured while trying to fend off the attack. A resident pulled the suspect away from the man. The injured man was taken to hospital after receiving initial treatment. The 59-year-old was arrested, and a court later ordered him held on remand on suspicion of attempted homicide.
