24-year-old injured with knife in group attack in Landau
A 24-year-old man was attacked by a group on a car park on An den Lerchenwiesen street in Landau in der Pfalz at around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday. The group is alleged to have injured him with, among other things, a knife and stopped only when police officers arrived. The man was taken to hospital and was not believed to be in danger of death. Prosecutors and criminal police are investigating on suspicion of attempted homicide. Earlier, a 71-year-old man had been attacked and injured on the same street; investigators are examining whether the two incidents are connected.
