Man pulls knife during confrontation at Iserlohn shop
A 40-year-old suspected shoplifter allegedly pulled a knife during a confrontation at a shop on Obere Mühle in Iserlohn. Shortly after 1 p.m., an employee reportedly confronted him after seeing him take a bottle of rum. When the man became aggressive and tried to flee, the employee restrained him. Police said another witness took the knife from the man, and the three men fell onto a pallet. Officers who arrived then restrained him; he underwent identification procedures and had a blood sample taken. He was reported for robbery-related theft, and the shop imposed a ban on him.
