Man seriously injured in knife attack in Kreuztal
A man was seriously injured in an attempted homicide in Kreuztal on 13 September. According to police and prosecutors, two men were near a sports facility on Moltkestraße at about 12:30 p.m. when one of them allegedly produced a knife and used it against the other.
Emergency responders took the injured man to hospital. The alleged perpetrator initially fled but was located by police during an area search and provisionally detained. Police in Hagen took over the investigation and established a homicide commission.
