Machete attack outside home in Krefeld
A 23-year-old man was attacked outside his home on Geldernsche Straße in Krefeld during the night of 9 February. When he arrived home with a female friend, three men emerged from behind bushes; two of them allegedly attacked him with pepper spray and a machete. The man sustained minor injuries from the pepper spray and was treated at the scene by emergency services. The three men fled, but police know their identities. Investigators believe private disputes may be connected to the attack and the criminal police are investigating.
