Woman fatally injured in knife attack in Krefeld
A woman died following a knife attack at a shop on Hochstraße in Krefeld on 7 May. According to police and prosecutors, she and a 25-year-old colleague were in the shop's staff room at about 19:20 when she was seriously injured and died at the scene. Officers provisionally arrested the suspect nearby shortly afterwards. A homicide investigation team is investigating, and the background remains unknown. The man was due to appear before an investigating judge on an allegation of manslaughter.
