Attempted bank robbery involving a knife in Königswinter
An unidentified man allegedly attempted to rob a bank branch on Heisterbacher Straße in Königswinter-Niederdollendorf on Friday morning. He went to the counter, presented a written demand for money and displayed a knife carried in his waistband. After no money was handed over, he left the branch and headed toward Oberdollendorf. An initial police search involving a helicopter did not find him.
