Teenager threatened with a knife in Burgebrach
A teenage girl was allegedly forced to the ground and threatened with a knife by an unknown man on a cycle path near Schatzenhof in the Burgebrach area on 11 April. She called emergency services at about 4:45 pm after the man allegedly stopped following insults and fled on a bicycle. She sustained minor injuries and went to hospital for medical treatment.
Police provisionally detained a 35-year-old suspect during the search. According to police, he resisted detention and spat at officers; two readily accessible box cutters were seized. A judge ordered his placement in a secure psychiatric facility because of his conspicuous mental state.
