39-year-old injured with knife during robbery in Cologne's old town
A 39-year-old man was injured in the hand with a knife during a robbery in Cologne's old town in the early hours of 28 August. At about 2:50 a.m., he noticed that his backpack had been stolen while he was sitting in an outdoor dining area at Frankenwerft. He found the backpack a short distance away with two men searching through it, approached them and took it back. One of the men then attacked him with a knife, while further suspects struck the 39-year-old and stole his necklace, wallet and backpack. He received outpatient treatment at a clinic. The suspects fled with the property.
