Man injured in altercation in Hettstedt
An altercation involving several people took place on Hettstedt market square on Friday evening, leaving a 21-year-old man with stab injuries. According to the current findings, a verbal dispute between him and three suspects who were later identified had preceded the incident. The injured man was first taken to a hospital in Aschersleben and then transferred to Halle (Saale); doctors assessed his condition as not life-threatening. Police seized a machete and a switchblade during their measures, but are still examining whether either item was connected to the incident. Three male suspects are under investigation on suspicion of negligent bodily harm.
