Knife robbery at Cologne optician's shop
An unidentified man is alleged to have threatened a 59-year-old optician with a knife at her shop on Ebertplatz in Cologne on the afternoon of Tuesday, 17 February. According to police, he forced the woman into the rear part of the shop and stole about 50 pairs of glasses and a tablet. The man had initially entered the shop posing as a customer, returned shortly afterwards and left after the offence. Criminal police are searching for the suspect.
