Teenager attacked with knife in Frankfurt
On 16 February, an altercation took place outside a restaurant on Frankfurt am Main's Zeil near Hauptwache between a teenager and a group of seven people. Police said one suspect initially threatened the teenager with what appeared to be a real firearm. After the teenager pursued a man who had taken his backpack, the backpack was dropped. When he encountered the group again, someone struck him on the head with a wooden chair and thrust a knife toward his abdomen and face but did not hit him. The teenager suffered a head laceration and received emergency medical treatment at the scene. The group left, and criminal police are investigating.
