Tourist threatened with knife and robbed in Cologne
A 27-year-old tourist was robbed in Cologne’s old town on the evening of Friday, 16 May. Police said three as-yet unidentified men attacked him at about 8:30 p.m. near the Große Sankt Martin car park. One suspect allegedly threatened the man with a knife and demanded his bag. The tourist handed it over; it contained, among other things, a tablet and his passport. Two men then fled towards the Rhine waterfront and another towards Bechergasse. Criminal police are investigating and seeking witnesses.
