Two men seriously injured in Cologne knife attack
Two 25-year-old men were allegedly stabbed with a knife and seriously injured in Cologne-Chorweiler during the night of 4 April. Police had publicly searched for the suspected attacker.
On 15 April, a 22-year-old suspect surrendered to police accompanied by a lawyer and was arrested. A remand warrant for suspected dangerous bodily harm had already been issued against him. The public search was withdrawn; investigators said the motive and background remained unclear.
