Man dies after knife attack in Kierspe
In Rönsahl, Kierspe, two men became involved in an altercation on 21 September following a relationship dispute. According to the current investigation, a 56-year-old man initially attacked his 51-year-old opponent with a wooden board. The 51-year-old then pulled a knife and stabbed the man. The 56-year-old died at the scene despite resuscitation attempts. Police arrested the 51-year-old there and secured the suspected weapon. Prosecutors and a homicide unit are investigating, while the prosecution is considering an application for a detention warrant.
