Man seriously injured with knife in Bielefeld
A 34-year-old man was seriously injured with a knife on Sunday morning at the Bahnhof tram stop in Bielefeld. He was taken to hospital after emergency surgery and was subsequently out of danger.
Police provisionally detained a 38-year-old suspect near the scene and secured the suspected weapon. According to initial findings, the victim had been sitting on a bench when he was attacked. A homicide investigation unit is examining the background to the altercation.
