Teenager threatened with knife in attempted robbery in Kiel-Wellsee
A teenager escaped an attempted robbery in Kiel-Wellsee on Monday, 19 October 2026, without handing over his cash. Police say two other teenagers threatened him with a knife and demanded money; he sustained a minor hand injury while fleeing. Both suspects were initially detained but have since been released. One was released under conditions after an arrest warrant was issued, while the other was returned to his guardians because officers found no grounds for detention. The investigation continues.
