A 64-year-old man was injured in the hand with a knife at the main entrance of Kiel railway station on Sunday morning after an argument. According to federal police, the dispute was preceded by an argument about a mobile phone allegedly stolen from the injured man’s apartment. Witnesses and video footage supported the reported sequence of events. The suspected attacker initially fled but was arrested shortly after noon in the Wik district. Officers found a knife in his jacket pocket, and the injured man’s phone was found with the suspect’s companion. The injured man declined medical treatment.
