Teenager critically injured in Kassel knife attack
A teenager was critically injured with a knife during a dispute on Kurt-Schumacher-Straße in Kassel on 17 November. Passers-by provided first aid before the teenager was taken to hospital and underwent emergency surgery. He has since left hospital. Two minor suspects initially fled but were identified and later turned themselves in to police. They were arrested and a judge ordered pre-trial detention; investigations on suspicion of attempted homicide continue.
