Man allegedly threatened woman with knife in Karlsruhe
A 19-year-old man is suspected of threatening a 38-year-old woman with a knife and demanding cash from her in his car in Karlsruhe on 8 January. Investigators said the woman used pepper spray to defend herself and escaped from the vehicle; she was reportedly not injured. Shortly afterwards, the man left the scene after colliding with a parked car on Ettlinger Straße, but was provisionally arrested during the search. A judge issued a detention order and the suspect remains in pre-trial custody.
