Man with knife attempts attack on police officers in Kaiserslautern
A 35-year-old man is alleged to have attempted an attack on police officers near a shopping centre in Kaiserslautern on the evening of 5 February. The officers were checking another person shortly after 6:30 p.m. when the man approached them. Because he was carrying a knife, officers immediately restrained him. Police said the incident led to tumultuous scenes; the man was provisionally detained and is under investigation.
