Witness threatened with knife in Jülich

On the evening of 4 September, an unknown man set an election poster on fire in a pedestrian passage on Franz-von-Sales-Straße in Jülich. A witness confronted him and tried to hold him until police arrived. The man then threatened the witness with a knife and fled on foot. An immediate police search did not locate him. State security police have taken over the investigation.
