Man with utility knife threatens workers on Fehmarn
A man carrying a utility knife was spotted on the grounds of an agricultural business near Petersdorf on Fehmarn on Thursday. After fleeing, he moved threateningly toward workers who had followed him in a vehicle, according to police. An officer fired a warning shot; the man initially ran into a field and was later apprehended there. Police opened an investigation on suspicion of making threats and trespassing. The 36-year-old was taken to hospital because police believed he was experiencing a psychological crisis.
