Man threatens fellow resident in Jena and arms himself with machete
A 38-year-old resident of a shared accommodation in Jena allegedly threatened to kill a fellow resident on 5 May. When police arrived, he reportedly armed himself with a machete and pepper spray before retreating to his flat. Specialist officers overpowered him at about 1 a.m. after neighbouring flats had been evacuated as a precaution. No one was injured. The man received medical care and is under investigation for making threats.
