Man injured with knife during assault in Itzehoe
A group of about seven young men allegedly assaulted a 24-year-old man in Itzehoe city centre on Saturday evening. After a brief conversation in Klosterhof, several of the men allegedly approached him, struck him repeatedly in the face and injured him with a knife. His mobile phone was then stolen. He sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for further treatment. Criminal police are investigating on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm and are also examining a possible link to a similar incident in November.
