Woman dies after knife attack in Ingolstadt
During a confrontation on Richard-Strauss-Straße in Ingolstadt, a 49-year-old man is alleged to have attacked his 45-year-old former partner with a kitchen knife and stabbed her. The seriously injured woman died shortly after being taken to hospital.
According to police, an adult son and a minor son of the woman tried to intervene. The man, who was also seriously injured, was taken to hospital and guarded by police. Police cordoned off the area, looked after witnesses and are continuing their investigation with prosecutors.
