A 51-year-old man was seriously injured by a knife stab on Saturday after an argument with his roommate at accommodation on Franziskanerwasser in Ingolstadt. Security staff alerted police about the dispute at about 2 pm. Officers encountered the 47-year-old roommate carrying a stabbing weapon and, after threatening coercive measures, made him put it down. The injured man was taken to hospital and operated on during the night; police said his life was not in danger. A judge ordered the 47-year-old remanded in custody.
